Hello! how are you today?hehe

So i thought my blog was so boringgg! Every post also have to tell stories about studies? Not interesting enough i even yawn reading my previous entries. Zzzzzzz.....

Then i decided, why don't i share with you girls about things that i think are different from Malaysia. Yayyy! *claps2*

Last weekend, i went jln2 cuci mata at a mall. And ternampak a great great bargain on Giordano's jeans and seluar slack. $20! The cheapest so far I can get from Giordano is $25. Though I knew I've got so many seluar already, tapi bila tgk the bargain I was like lupa all my stok seluar kat dalam my wardrobe. Plus you see your friend buying one kan, how could you resist? ehhh tkbolehh! Grabbed one after so long considering whether it is a need or necessity. lols.

Balik rumah, hmm. The colour was a bit different than in store. Might be due to the store's lighting. And bila ditimbang timbang, okayyy thought i should just return the seluar because Rasa macam the size of my drumstick memang di empasis sangat.

This is what i love about Australia. U can return things you bought without hustle! But of course lah there's some T&C like you've got to have the tags still attached to the garments. But the T&C varies among companies.

So that day, i went to the store again, straight to the counter, asking for a refund. The lady asked why i want to return the garment? And i answered, "i just noticed i already have the same colour". *put some lovely smile on face* The lady then asked when did i buy the seluar and i said just now about an hour ago. Then she said, Okay i'll handle that for you. And i wait a bit, signed a refund receipt. Voila! Done! she credited back the $20 to my debit card in about 5 minutes! and i happily headed to Chatime rewarding myself for i don't know what reason. lols. Don't worry.. Of course i did thanks her for the prompt service. :))

My other experience of refunding bought garment is during my first year, in Target. Target is like Carrefour kot? lebih kurang la... I bought a leather glove from target without checking what leather they used. Few days later baru notice some not-so-apparent small dots on the gloves. Yakin xyakin jgk if it's pig skin. Because of that i went to Target again the following weekend, after dah pakai the glove once i think. haha. The target cashier was a muslim lady that time.. So dh rasa relieved skit sbb lagi la memahami kan? So I explained my concern, she nodded and help me with the refund. Settle!

Alhamdulillah it is so easy. Online stores pun sama because my housemate experience refunding garments to online stores twice i think. or maybe more. hehe. All you have to do is just courier the Garment back to the sellers and they'll credit back your bank account. But you have to bear the postage fees lah. tu je yg xpuas hati skit.

But overall i love their refund policy. Terbela la skit nasib consumers kat sini kan? Till then!

hello from Malaysia! (WAS IN MY DRAFT FOLDER FOR ABOUT TWO TO THREE WEEKS)

Anyone being turned down by my disappearance from this echoing blog, hehe. apologise! apologise!
Of course i'm enjoying my study break so much i forgot about my blog.



This time, my semester break was shortened by my own decision taking up summer school. Yup, people questioned my decision. Tak sempat nk spend time together and all. I know, December wasn't holidays for locals degree undergrads, so got no time to spend with you guys. So sorry.. After weighing up all the consequence, I really think I should go for summer term. Good for me, good for my upcoming results hopefully, I can graduate on time and make everyone happay. Amin!

Just for now, i enjoyed every single day in home country. Shower my taste buds with all delicacies i'll missed next year. Fulfilling my past time with good-reads, cookings, bakings, all those things i won't have time for during the semester. And of course, driving. yup, i did miss driving so much, sampai2 je kat airport haritu rasa macam nak suruh my sister sit at the back so i can do the driving. But i didn't. Because something else excites me more! "wohoooo dah sampai!" "eh, sejak bila ada stesen minyok sini?" "ohmai! kedai tu jual roti canai!" yadda yadda

So u think studying overseas is sooooooo exciting? it is! When you've got the chance to travel and see alien things, mixing around with the locals, imitate their accent, see their culture, the way they think. Yadda Yadaa.It's fab! Except for, Homesick! hehe. Normal kan? normal.......

Ape2 pong, I still love Malaysia. So Much like So much. NO COMPROMISE! =P

Stories of the day

Number oneeee: i lost my hooded cardigan while walking and when i go to find it with the hope mi amoré is there, none.

Number two: i had ice cream (instead of chatime because chatime is so far away and i'm too lazy to walk that far). I said to the ice cream girl, i want something chocolatey and berries. She said take this (choc ice cream with cookies) and this (strawberies and burberry wopps i mean raspberries). Yummilicious i love u ice cream girl!

The feeling when u know its your fault.

Episod cuti dah mula. Silap besar check result IFA the-most-annoying-subject-ever semalam. Today (or is it yesterday?) went for a brisk walk at the park. From morning till night. Ok tipu. Went to the direct factory outlet or we call it DFO. Honestly, hati rasa tersekat utk have fun. Actually rasa bersalah sebab striving for those grades. Sure thing I can easily say its beyond my control.. But its not! I can assure u not. I don't give the effort i should have given. I can count how many days I woke up late to study, sleep early at night.
So its all my fault.

We'll see how it goes, without hard work there's no point aiming for stars.

raya vs raya?

Raya.
My Second year raya-ing in melbourne.
Let me tell you my first raya experience here in Melbourne.

The first raya isn't that bad, we've got several, i think 4 or 5, open houses to attend in fact we didnt manage to attend all coz banyak sangat!

I expected only first raya would be overwhelmingly celebrated. It all began with solat raya at flagstaff garden, if u remember i posted a picture on facebook last time. The one with khatib inside the picture if u remember? then we also took pictures with budak2 KMS together at the garden.

Then the housemates went back home to fill in our tummy. Laksa, rendang, sambal goreng, kuih raya. lots of food. Then after zohor off we went to the open houses. To the guys house. They made nasi minyak with ayam merah, nasi himpit with kuah kacang. then we go to seniors house to beraya.

I also thought the second, third, forth raya would be very hambar one. But what i expected was wrong. The second raya, we still got some more rendang, laksa left over (not really left over) from the previous day. So we had our classmate came beraya with us that day. But the second day, all of us went to class already. with semangat raya, i wore baju kurung. haha.

So this years' raya i dont expect it to be that meriah. We housemate thought that first year should smells good because of the first time raya-ing abroad. We're all excited, we've got things to look forward since it's the first experience. But now, neither of us feels excited, except for xsabar nk pakai baju raya.

Worse, i've got one assignment to submit on the second raya and another one on the third of raya. Awesome posum! lol

Oh well actually, i won't get the raya mood if i don't have facebook account. Coz it's all because of people on my newsfeeds. They keep on updating raya thing. How cruel you guys..






Ok la. I'm trying to start assignment-ing early so that i can finish early and cry out loud on pagi raya. Till then. love.

I think I already miss Ramadhan

I think I already miss Ramadhan. Tho it has not end yet, not even half of it pass by, I think I already miss Ramadhan. In case you think i feel so because i've already missed my fasting, no i havent.

I feel so secure now.

Except for this semester's subjects for which i worry so much.

I can feel my house shaking like a huge ogre shaking my house.
Once is enough ya Allah.
I won't want to feel the fear again.
Save us from those tests of yours, Ya Allah.

Twins of Faith- Day 1

Assalamualaikum! kabareyy?
This should be an entry of what i got from this Islamic conference.

First of all, being one of the participants really makes me feel like i have the littlest knowledge about my religion. What adds to my humbleness, i was an alumni of a religious school of which i should know more, aint i?

But i am so thankful to god that at least he opened up my heart to attend this convention when not everyone are willing to attend this type of convention. I went with a kakak whom i actually feel a bit of awkward being with. I just had to ignore those feelings right? That's a bit of sacrifice there. Alhamdulillah, i survived first day.

I arrived a bit late (intentionally) to miss i think 2 topics. But then i got to listen to Boona Mohammed's rapping.

What i can say, he really is good at words. His rap was like straight away struck to the heart. This was his rap: (i took picture of the kakak's note coz i was so busy concentrating, i didnt jot down) hihi.
Anyway, the kakak said, dia pun tak sempat salin semua. :)

Then, there's a talk about The People of Knowledge and Action. This was a good one. I would consider this one as the best of the day. :)

So here's the points i managed to jot down:

• Allah will ask 5 question to every human beings, be it muslim or not,:

1. How did you spend your life?
2. How did you spend your youth?
3. From where do you earn your money?
4. What do you do with your money?
5. What do you do with the knowledge you have?

• "Who seek the path of knowledge, Allah ease the path to jannah." (so ikhlas kan hati dlm belajar k?)
• Ask your teacher to gain control of the knowledge. Your teacher should know lots of things. 
• Reflect yourself:
• how many time you spent on searching for knowledge?
• When is the last time you open the book of Allah and seek knowledge from that?
• Allah's promise; Whoever gainings' is hard, the ending must be sweet.

• Condition to gain knowledge:
• INTELLIGENCE: 
• what is the best time to gain knowledge? if young, can better concentrate
• FOCUS & PERSEVERANCE:
• we have to love knowledge so that we can feel the sweetness of the knowledge
• HARD WORK
• eg; working out on time to class, have to jot down in class, revise etc
• COMPANION OF TEACHER
• find a good teacher. 
• A good teacher will teach basic things before difficult thing
• be around the teacher
• LONG DURATION OF TIME
• It doesn't takes a second to succeed. It is a repetitive process.

• Acting on knowledge cause it to stay in your heart. Other words; PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE!
• 5 step to act upon knowledge:

1. Have Knowledge
• write everything, ask teacher.
2. Believe wholeheartedly that it is true
• eg: Believe that 
• revising will help u succeed, or
• reading Quran brings serenity to heart
3. Make a real decision to implement
• eg.: 
• I have to study revise to be in the dean list
• I've got to read Quran after Maghrib, no matter what
4. Tell yourself that you are excited for it
• eg:
• I cant wait to succed in exam s i cant wait to studyyyyy!
• I cant wait to read Quran to have peace of mind!
5. Do small bit of it
• eg.:
• I'm gonna start today!

The talks after i was a bit of terhuyung hayang keawang awangan so this is some of them that i manage to capture:

• Zakah: Free us from greed of wealth
• so u better give out zakah as in belanja kawan2. thats the simplest.
• Solah:
•  If you want Allah to speak to u, open up the Quran
•  If you want to speak to Allah, do solah.

I dont feel like summarising my cuti 3 bulan activities. It is too heaven for me to remember all that again. kang xpasal2 ada yang beli tiket balik bulan 4 satgi kang.
ok la i make it a brief, i mean real brief summary.

among the things i did last few months was:

• Ambik/ hantar adik skolah
• Ambik/hantar adik tusyen
• Ambik/hantar abang keje
• masak 2kali seminggu
• kalau tak masak, buy foods for those monsters kat rumah tu
• online
• visit opah n atuk almost everyday, kecuali malas melanda
• a bit of house chores
• went to kuantan, shah alam and kl

pendek kata, aku lagi jadi bibik ama supir kok teman-teman. eh eh do i forget to mention ngedate? haha.
